Gainesville Community 3 Ring Circus. [1937], 14 x 42 in. streamer. Photo offset. DL Co. Newport, KY. No 5469. Featuring performing dogs, clowns and ponies. A note on the verso states that the performance was in Gainesville, Texas, April 28, 29, 30, 1937. Condition: B+. Tear at lower edge reaches just across border; paper loss to border can be covered by framing; also, small holes at fold intersections, a couple of tears at top edge and three tape remnants on verso. This circus operated 1930-41 and 1946-56. This image was also used by Beers-Barnes.
