Scientists and Philanthropists. Peter Cooper: two beautiful, large signatures, one on a card and one on a 2¾" x 5" piece of paper; minor soiling. Armand Hammer: 8" x 10" photograph inscribed and signed, 1987; fine. Louis Agassiz: two signatures, one on a plain card and one on a 2½" x 4" piece of paper, Cambridge, Dec. 5, 1868; mounting remnants at corners on verso and one tiny corner missing. Max Nordau: three unsigned business cards, one with a note in French and another with a note in German. Also, two cards from Mrs. Agassiz.
