Himmler, Heinrich. Typed Letter Signed ("H. Himmler,") one page, large quarto, Berlin, August 30, 1937. On "Der Reichsführer SS" letterhead, to "Daluege," informing him that SS-Gruppenfûhrer Prutzmann has informed him that Prutzmann has become a senator of the Interior, that is, a police-senator, but the inspector of the security of police does not want to have anything to do with him. Himmler tells him, "Be so kind and give an order to the inspector, because Hamburg would be the first practical example where we could recruit the Oberabschnittsführer as inspector for police matters." File holes and notations; stamped docket; about fine. Himmler signed boldly in black ink. From the Institute of Documentation in Israel.
