Columbian World's Fair, Chicago, 1892-1893. Three Aluminum Tokens Promoting Metal Technologies. Each with different portrait of Columbus, with two promoting the non-tarnishing, ductile and other wonderful and useful traits of aluminum. The third from the mining interests of Colorado, with their slogan, "Free Coinage of Silver." Besides these, one more medal with distinguished Renaissance-style portrait of the explorer in high relief, the Administration Building on the reverse. With glossy black finish on spelter. Diameters: 33 mm.-67mm. All finely to outstandingly preserved. Lot of 4 pieces.
