Columbian World's Fair, Chicago, 1892-1893. Two Ribbons with Original Paper Backing. On white ground, beneath Fair's emblem, in various colors, has the 400th Anniversary of Columbus' landing, with a scene of two of his ships laying at anchor near the Indian-inhabited shore. The second ribbon celebrates Independence Day at the Fair. The ribbons complete, one still attached to the paper by the original short pins. Both with faint soiling and slight yellowing. Both papers with pin marks; one rather weak at the crease. Nevertheless, they remain particularly fine, and rare to be seen this complete. Ribbon Lengths: 8", 7".
Estimated Value $200 - 300.

Realized $115
