Columbian World's Fair, Chicago, 1892-1893. Three Excellent Demitasse Spoons in Silver. The first, a miniature, but similar to spoons already seen, but bowl gilt. Second, with handle having figure Isabella; on back, the ship, Santa Maria. The lightly gilt bowl with image of the Women's Building. Last, a similar spoon, but with figure of Columbus, atop globe inscribed 1492. Bowl with American eagle straddling the hemisphere, and "World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago, 1893." All spoons choice. Lengths: 4-1/4" on average. Cf. Rossen & Kaduck, p. 120, nos. 1, 13.
