1864. Small 27.7 mm white medal of Lincoln by Keys. This medal is signed by W. H. Key, and shows a medallic portrait of Lincoln facing left, with ABRAHAM LINCOLN PREST. OF THE U.S. and the date 1864 below, the reverse with a small bust of Washington supported by a lumpy cloud, 4 flags on poles, glory rays and stars, and the motto THE UNION MUST AND SHALL BE PRESERVED. Holed for suspension, and we note some minor verdigris on the reverse. Some bangs and bumps, and probably worn for a time. Very Fine.
