1863 (1) Print with text of Emancipation Proclamation, surrounded by color vignettes of President Lincoln lifting up a slave from his broken chains, and small bust portraits of Grant and Seward, 24" x 28¾". On cardstock, 1890, by J.S. Smith & Co. Stain at lower border and one faint, barely-visible stain in print; 3" tear at left edge and 1¾" closed tear at lower edge; most blemishes would be covered by matting and framing. Bright and colorful. (2) A 15" x 22" Thomas Nast cartoon which appeared on November 2, a week before the presidential election of November 8, showing Columbia (guarded by the American Eagle), soldiers, and citizens, voting for Lincoln's reelection; a disparaging vignette of a Democratic voter is at lower right. Light toning; framed. (3) Harper's Weekly illustration of Gardner's photo of Lincoln with his secretaries, Hay and Nicolay, 15¾" x 10¾"; framed. (4) 19½" x 15¼" print of Lincoln, with label on verso, "New York Graphic Society…6278 Marshall/Abraham Lincoln 1865/ Custom Framed Especially for; Disneyland Inc. Anaheim, Calif."; framed. Very Good to Very Fine.
