Some nicks to hard covers; light toning throughout. "Soldiers' and Patriots' Biographical Album," Chicago: Union Veteran Publishing Company, 1892, 833 pages, quarto. Frontispiece of Lincoln, with full-page plates of Grant, Sheridan, Logan, Sherman, George H. Thomas, Winfield Scott Hancock, Meade, McClellan, and others. Four pages disbound; a few others loose, and some dampstaining to front end pages. Toned throughout and worn, not affecting legibility. "Abe Lincoln's Yarns And Stories," by Colonel Alexander K. McClure, "A Personal Friend and Adviser of the Story Telling President," copyright by Henry Neil, 1901, 512 pages, small quarto. Hard covers with gilt lettering and color portrait of Lincoln. Worn but intact. Very Good.
