1865. A collection of fourteen cartes de visite, six of Lincoln, two of Mary Todd Lincoln (one by Brady, one by Woodward & Rundel), two of Andrew Johnson (one painted from life by Dodge, the other by Crater's), a very young soldier in uniform (by Brady), a caricature of a captured Jefferson Davis, dressed as a woman, between two Union soldiers (1865, by J.A. Arthur); a seated, dapper young man (by John Goldin & Co.), and Gen. Tom Thumb with his wife and child (damaged). Among the Lincoln CDvs is a framed gem photo (no backprint visible); Lincoln and his cabinet (no backprint visible), both framed; one by Salisbury, Bro. & Co.; a damp-stained image (by Berger, from Brady's Gallery) which was "Sold by a one-armed soldier" for 25¢; a full-length image from a print, by Holyland; and a caricature of Lincoln playing the banjo and singing, "I Wish I Was In Dixie." Conditions vary. Should be seen. Most Fair to Fine.
