1917 McKinley Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66. Another superb gold commemorative from the Benson collection. Resplendent orange gold color with vibrant luster. One tiny speck on the reverse on the left side of the memorial building. Fully struck by the dies, and extremely well preserved. PCGS has graded 233 this high, with 39 graded higher, all MS-67 (PCGS # 7455) .
Estimated Value $3,500 - 4,000.
From the Benson collection and purchased from Ira S. Reed on June 29, 1944 for $9.
