1922 Grant Dollar, with star. PCGS graded MS-66. Rich golden luster and pleasing surfaces. Slightly weak on the left tree trunk near the cabin window, otherwise sharp. Scarce this nice, and even more expensive any better. One tiny planchet flake right of the E of ONE on the obverse. PCGS in their Population Report note 386 graded as MS-66, with 172 graded a notch higher and 2 at the very top at MS-68 (PCGS # 7459) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,500.
From the Benson collection and purchased from Ira S. Reed on February 26, 1944 for $10.00.
