Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, d. 141 AD. AE Sestertius, Rome mint. "Diva Favstina." Diademed and draped bust of Faustina right. Reverse: Aeternitas enthroned left, holding scepter and phoenix atop globe. RIC 1103; C. 15. Sharp strike, well centered on fairly round flan. Pleasing deep green and brown patina, with modest earthen highlights. Very Fine.
