Augustus, 27 BC-14 AD. AR Denarius, Lugdunum mint, struck 2 BC - 14 AD. Laureate head of Augustus right. Reverse: Togate Caius and Lucius Caesar frontal, holding shields and spears; lituus and simpulum between them. RIC 207; BMCRE 519. Well struck up, with head of Augustus in better style. Metal a little granular, but with choice deep iridescent toning. Nearly Extremely Fine.
