Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. . Hen-738. AE Small Bronze (18 mm), Year 3 (undated), struck 134/135 AD. Palm tree of seven branches, two date clusters below; Hebrew inscription across field below ("Jerusalem"). Reverse: Cluster of grapes; Hebrew inscription around ("For the freedom of Jerusalem"). Hendin 738; Mild. 156; AJC II, p. 276, 80. Sharply struck. With dark green to black patina, and earthen highlights. Quite pleasing. Nearly Extremely Fine.
