Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. AR Zuz (3.1 g), Year 3 (undated), struck 134/135 AD. . Hen-734. Rare. Mildenberg lists only five examples for this number. Cluster of grapes; Hebrew inscription around (Shim'on). Reverse: Lyre/kithara of three strings; Hebrew inscription around ("For the freedom of Jerusalem"). Hendin 734; Mild. 218. Good strike, but obverse die well worn. Undertype an Ephesian or Cappadocian drachm of Trajan(?). With light, pleasing toning. Extremely Fine.
