Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. AR Zuz (3.1 g), Year 3 (undated), struck 134/135 AD. . Hen-729. Cluster of grapes; Hebrew inscription around (Shim'on). Reverse: Upright palm branch; Hebrew inscription around ("For the freedom of Jerusalem"). Hendin 729; Mild. 150. Good, bold strike, yet undertype strongly visible. The undertype a Cappadocian drachm of Trajan, probably Arabia reverse. Slightly toned, and somewhat lustrous. Nearly Extremely Fine.
