Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. AR Sela (13.9 g), Year 3 (undated), struck 134/135 AD. . Hen-711. Facade of Temple, ark within, star above. Reverse: Lulav with etrog to left, Hebrew inscription around ("For the freedom of Jerusalem"). Hendin 711; Mild. 59. Overtstruck on Antiocene tetradrachm, but undertype hardly visible. Slightly toned, with very full strike. Die breaks and chips evident on obverse. Less common issue (Mildenberg notes only 13 examples). Extremely Fine.
