The Jewish War, 66-70 AD. AR Shekel (12.3 g), Year 3, struck 68/69 AD. . Hen-662. Omer cup with pearled rim, base with projections; Hebrew inscription around, date above cup. Reverse: Stem with pearled base and three pomegranates; Hebrew inscription around ("Jerusalem the Holy"). Hendin 662; AJC II, p. 261, 18. Nicely centered on fairly full flan. Bold strike, with much luster on obverse. Some porosity and light corrosion on reverse. Extremely Fine.
