Judea. Herodian Period. Herod Agrippa II, 56-95 AD. AE 28 mm., Year 26, struck 86/87 AD. Apparently a less common variety. Laureate head of Vespasian right. Reverse: Tyche frontal on dais, head left, holding cornucopia, and in extended hand, two ears of corn; at upper left a crescent. Hendin --; SNG ANS Palestine --; BMC p. 240, 9; AJA II, 254, 30a. Nicely centered, with modest peripheral weakness. Bold portrait, and choice deep green patina, with earthen highlights. About Very Fine.
