From Cyzicus, c. 600-500 BC.: two Three-quarter Obols -- Two fish above tunny / Quadripartite incuse (von Fritz 5 var.), and Tunny left / Quadripartite incuse (SNG von Aulock 7328), edge chipped; plus an Obol, Two tunnies left or right / Quadripartite incuse (SNG von Aulock 7327). Rest of coins from Ionia. First, Uncertain Mint, Three-quarter Obol: Lion forepart, head reverted / Forepart of lion viewed from top ((SNG von Aulock 7805 var.). The following four coins, all ex. J. Rosen Collection. Colophon, c. 480-450 BC, Tetartemorion: Facing head of Apollo / TE monogram (SGC 4345). Teos, c. 600- 550 BC., Tetartemorion: Griffin head right / Quadripartite incuse. Teos, c. 550-500 BC., Hemiobol: Griffin forepart right / Quadripartite incuse. Samos, before 494 BC., Tetartemorion: Lion head facing / Quadripartite incuse. Coins with various surfaces, a number lightly porous. All toned. Lot of 8 coins. Coins average Fine to Very Fine.
