Sicily. Syracuse. Time of Timoleon, c. 341-317 BC. AR Stater (8.50 g). Pegasus flying left. Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena right, ethnic to right. SNG ANS 505-507; Dewing 931. Finely centered and struck up in high relief. Light doubling at upper edge of helmet, otherwise very handsome. Lightly toned. Extremely Fine.
