1807 Draped Bust Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-65. Gem draped bust coinage is extremely rare. Only a handful of coins have been graded as such over the many years of third party grading, and prices are always strong when they are offered. As a date, NGC has graded 5 1807 Draped bust half dollars this high, with a single coin graded higher. Certainly not many to go around for all the collectors out there who desire to own a mint fresh example as offered here. Abundant luster in the fields and the coin is nicely struck save for the area around Liberty's temple, which is characteristically weak. Light golden hues with a touch of deeper blue at the rims. Certainly a rare opportunity for the advanced numismatist to secure a lovely gem example of this date.
