1877 Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. The key date to the Indian cent series, and all are in short supply. This near gem boasts substantial red remaining on both sides and toned with an even and light brown elsewhere. Struck unevenly, with the date a touch weak, but the proud 7's both clear to the unaided eye, and the diagnostic weak N of ONE present, as seen on all known examples of this date. Excellent surfaces too, and nearly a gem. PCGS has graded 98 this high, with 33 higher.
