1879-S. Reverse of 1878. PCGS graded MS-64+. CAC. The reverse of '78 is many times scarcer than the normal issue. Totally white and a near gem example. A sought-after and popular variety that defines the changes undertaken as soon as this popular series was born, luckily the changes were largely unnoticed at the time, but specialist collectors can easily spot them today.
