Ancient Rome. Lot of Six AR Denarii, Flavian Dynasty, 69-96 AD. Good beginner's lot. The sow reverse often associated with the Tenth Legion, who sacked Jerusalem. All with laureate heads right. Three from Vespasian, 69-79 AD: Vespasian seated, as Pont. Max., 73 AD; Pax seated left, 75 AD; Sow and piglets, 77-78 AD. Titus, 79-81 AD: Draped chair, 80 AD. Two of Domitian, 81-96 AD: Vesta holding Palladium, 77-78 AD; Dolphin over tripod, 81 AD. Also two Domitian AE's: Sestertius, Minerva left, 82 AD; and an AE 17mm. from Perga, Pamphylia, c. 90 AD, Artemis in distyle temple. Various tones and surfaces. Lot of 8 coins. Coins average Fine, plus or minus.
