Ancient Judea. Herodian Period, Lot of Seven Small AE's, c. 40 BC. Earliest: Herod I, 40 BC - 4 AD: Prutah, Anchor / Twin cornucopiae (Hen. 500); and, Two Leptons, Eagle /Cornucopia (Hen. 501). Herod Archelaus, 4 BC - 6 AD: Prutah, Grapes / Helmet (Hen. 505). And, Prutah; Prow / Incription in wreath (Hen. 506). And two of, Herod Agrippa I, 37-44 AD: Prutah,Umbrella / Barley ears (Hen. 553). Generally dark brown or green patina. A few off center. Coins average from Fine to Very Fine.
