Phoenicia. Arados, c. 185-75 BC. Lot of Two AR Coins. After 137 BC., AR Tetradrachm, struck 79-78 BC. Veiled, draped bust of Tyche right, wearing mural crown / Nike left, holding aplustre and palm; ethnic and date at left, all within laurel wreath (BMC 250). Compact style and flan; toned. Also, a Drachm, struck 170/169 BC.: Top view of bee / Stag standing before date palm (BMC 151). Some surface roughness, deeply toned. First, Fine; second Choice Very Fine.
