Seleucid Kingdom. Demetrios I, 162-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.8 g). Diademed head of Demetrios I right, within laurel wreath border. Reverse: Tyche, holding baton and cornucopia, seated left on throne with winged giantess support; monograms at left, date in exergue (year 158). SNG Cop. 234 var.; Dewing 2592 var. Well centered attractive portrait, on nearly round flan. Light gold-russet toning. Very Fine plus.
