Cilicia. Tarsos. Pharnabazus, 379-374 BC. AR Stater (10.6 g). Ba'altars enthroned left, holding scepter; in Aramaic, name at right, monogram(?) at left. Reverse: Bearded and draped bust of male (Ares?) left, wearing crested helmet, ethnic and name of Pharnabazus in Aramaic. BMC 21 var; Levante 73 var. Decently centered and well struck example, with good eye appeal. Nearly Extremely Fine.
