Pamphylia. Aspendos, c. 370-333 BC. AR Tetradrachm (10.9 g). Two wrestlers grappling. Reverse: Slinger to right about to cast, triskeles in right field, ethnic at left. SNG von Aulock 4539. The wrestlers attractive and but for minor flatness at legs are well struck up; the slinger fully so! Lightly toned, the obverse still lustrous. A very much above average example. Choice Very Fine.
