Aeolis. Myrina, after 165 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.6 g). Laureate head of Apollo right. Reverse: Apollo Grynios right, holding branch and phiale, omphalos and amphora at feet; ethnic and monogram at left. BMC p. 136, 7. Well centered and lightly toned. The obverse a little softly struck struck, but still among the better styled portraits of the series. Choice Very Fine, the reverse even better.
