Paeonian Kingdom. Lykkeios, 356-335 BC. AR Tetradrachm 12.7 g). Scarce with reverse flower symbol. Laureate head of Zeus right. Reverse: Herakles, left, strangling the Nemean lion, bow and quiver behind; flower-like monogram(?) at left, king's name above and around. SNG ANS 1019 var.; Gaebler 8 (appears to be same dies); Sotheby's "Paeonian Hoard" 63 (all from the same obverse die). Untoned. Sharply and fully struck, the reverse with better centering than typical. The devices in high relief and attractive. Choice Extremely Fine, as struck.
