Macedonian Kingdom. Phillip II, 359-336 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.3 g), Pella mint, struck c. 323-315 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right. Reverse: Nude youth, holding palm, on horse right, snake and Boeotian shield below. Le Rider pl. 22, 531 b,d (same dies). Boldly struck and stylish. Light iridescent toning, and lustrous. Extremely Fine, the reverse Superb.
