Sicily. Akragas, c. 470-420 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.9 g). Eagle standing left; ethnic in field around. Reverse: Crab as seen from above. BMC 38ff.; Dewing 555. Some areas of surface laminations on obverse, plus contact marks on reverse. Good centering, along with artistic toning. Very Fine.
