Forney, John H. Seated in uniform, ¾ length portrait carte de visite. Matted and framed to 6½ x 8". Somewhat clumsily mounted to ivory card, the edges are crooked and an a abrasion to the left edge has resulted in two minor tears lifting of the image. There appears to be a repaired tear in the dark field at the top right -- either this is an early repair or this image may have been removed from another card and re-applied to this one. A strong image that would benefit from professional repair but the overall condition is very good. Removed from frame for inspection.
