Original Drawings by Cartoonists. Lot of seven.
This great lot features drawings and signatures from seven world-famous cartoonists Mort Walker, Walter Lantz, Hank Ketchum, Bud Blake, Gene Basset, Dick Locher and Chester Gould. With the exception of Gould (who has sent a brief handwritten note on Dick Tracy stationery), the artists have included a sketch emblematic of their work -- Beetle Bailey, Woody Woodpecker, Dennis the Menace, Tiger, an editorial sketch of Ronald Reagan and Dick Tracy, respectively. Dennis, Beetle, Dick and Woody are on small white cards, while the other drawings are 8 x 10". There are file holes on the right edge of Gould's note, there is some toning on the Tiger page, otherwise the pieces are in fine condition.
