1915. PCGS graded MS-66. A lovely untoned Gem example. Sharply detailed design with vibrant mint luster on both sides. Great eye appeal with rich orange gold color throughout. This is one of the finest certified of the date and mint, tied with a select group as one of the finer 1915 gold eagles to survive. Pop 11; 7 finer at PCGS, 5 in 66+, 1 in 67, 1 in 67+. Philadelphia only struck 351,075 eagles, precious few of which exist at all, especially in gem grades. (PCGS # 8878) Estimated Value $12,500 - UP
