1916-D. PCGS graded EF-40. Housed in a PCGS Old Green Holder. A popular key date. Toned on both sides with light dove gray throughout with a few flecks of natural russet gold near the rims. Only 264,000 pieces struck for the year, creating what would become the lowest mintage and most sought-after Mercury dime in the series.
