5-Piece lot of Antiochene bronze coins depicting the Star of Bethlehem. All coins RPC 4269, depicting the head of Zeus on the obverse, and a leaping ram on the reverse. Above the ram is a star, which Michael Molnar, a Rutgers University astronomer, argues is the star of Bethlehem. The lot includes a photocopied explanation of the type, as well as a handwritten page of notes by Molnar. Fine to Very Fine. Estimated Value $500 - UP
