Caracalla. Æ 28mm (16.84 g), AD 198-217. Aelia Capitolina (Jerusalem) in Judaea, AD 209. ANTONINVS PIVS AVGVST, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla right. Reverse: COL AEL C COMM FELIX, Tyche-Astarte standing left, foot resting on uncertain object, holding small bust and scepter; all within central arch of tetrastyle temple façade. Meshorer 86; Rosenberger 50. A fantastic quality bronze with a lovely olive-green patina. Outstanding detail. Definitely a candidate for finest known. Superb Extremely Fine.
