Divus Augustus. Æ Sestertius (25.62 g), died AD 14. Rome, under Nerva, AD 96-98. DIVVS AVGVSTVS, laureate head of Augustus right. Reverse: IMP NERVA CAESAR AVGVSTVS REST, around large S C. RIC 136; BN 141; BMC 149. Very Rare. Fine style portrait, and with a reddish-brown patina. Chipping of the patina noted on the reverse. Choice Very Fine / Fine. Estimated Value $1,000 - UP
