Lucania, Thourion. Silver Nomos (7.68 g), ca. 400-350 BC. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla holding oar and pointing. Reverse: ΘOYPIΩN, bull butting right; in exergue, fish right. SNG ANS 1007; HN Italy 1800. Well centered and attractively toned. Some faint graffiti noted in the right obverse field. About Very Fine.
