$5 1988A FRN with entire green overprint missing on back. This is a beautiful $5 1988A Federal Reserve Note that originally came with it's pack-mates, all of which had some form of missing overprint error. This beauty has been graded PMG 64 EPQ, Choice Uncirculated. Estimated Value $300 - 600
This cataloger had the privilege of buying the entire group of 100 of these error notes from a bank vault employee back in the 1990s. The majority of this pack had some of the serial number printed on this error. This specific piece is superior to almost every other note in that pack in that the entire green overprint is missing from the portrait side of this gorgeous note.
