Lot 454

A trio of $100 Small Head Misalignment Error Notes. The first note in this lot is quite striking for two reasons: the paper color is almost snow white and the face margins are significantly shifted to the right with a sliver of the next note showing. It is a $100 1981 FRN D01852038B grade PMG 45 XF, $100 1981A FRN PMG 35EPQ Choice VF s/n G106711016A with a sliver of the bottom note showing on the face, and a $100 1988 FRN #B54263406C with the face margins shifted far right, PMG 64EPQ. Estimated Value $800 - 1,400
$100 Error notes continued to be exceptionally popular with collectors. This may be due in part to the fact that perhaps 80% of the hundreds printed by the BEP each year are shipped to foreign central banks.

Realized $480
