Lot 42

Ultra Rare $10 1934 era solid serial #44444444. A well preserved $10 1934A Federal Reserve Note bearing the solid serial number C44444444A has been graded PMG 55 EPQ About Uncirculated. This note's rarity is simply off the charts. While there is never enough supply of small head notes to go around, 1934 FRN small heads are in a different rarity league than the 1963 to 1995 issues. Estimated Value $5,000 - 10,000
The Baeder census shows a total of only 12 1934 era $5, $10, $20 solid serial numbers combined for all denominations $5 - $100. (There are Zero known $50 and Zero known $100 1934 era solid serial numbers.) Considering that there are over 1000 1963 - 1995 FRN solid serial numbers known, this gives you an idea of how rare this note is. Don't under-estimate just how scarce this spectacular piece is.
We are of the opinion that this note should bring $10,000 or more, due to how rare it is. We'll start the opening bid very low to allow everyone to have a chance to snag this wonderful note for their collection.

Realized $4,320
