Anonymous. Roundel, 10th-11th centuries. A cast bronze roundel with the facing nimbate bust of Saint Nicholas, his hand raised in blessing and holding Gopels. Cast with basic design and details added by hand, and with a name engraved in the field. Uniface. Small edge-break. Wonderful apple-green patina. Choice Very Fine. Estimated Value $500 - UP
