1868 Pattern Cent. Nickel, plain edge. Judd-608. Pollock-673. Rarity 4. PCGS graded Proof 55 OGH. Mostly untoned with the familar head from the Three Cent nickel used for Liberty on the obverse, surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, date below with the reverse showing a singular large I at the center, a just open laurel wreath which is tied with a ribbon at the base. Clean surfaces and a pattern which must have nearly been adopted as seen from its large mintage (PCGS # 60820) Estimated Value $500 - 550
