Lot 1077

1928 Hawaiian Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. CAC. Premium Quality. A lovely white coin that looks MS-65 and nearly is in terms of eye appeal and quality. Tough issue to find this nice and a key commemorative issue that is hard to find above the choice grade. Many of the Hawaiian half dollars are found today with a somewhat yellowish tone that is usually not too attractive, so this nice white example offers higher eye appeal than normal along with finer quality surfaces. Most of these were not sold to numismatists so their surfaces are commonly found with more handling marks than seen here (PCGS # 9309) Estimated Value $2,700 - 2,800
Ex The Inverness Collection.

Realized $3,360
