Rare Dinner Plate Likely Made for King Saud bin Al Saud and Royal Household by Rosenthal Porcelain. Rare and beautiful porcelain dinner plate made exclusively for King Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia. Rich emerald green border with gold gilt filigree within the border is complimented with equally complex scrolling within the gold band that encircles the white, creamy porcelain base of the plate. The Saudi Arabian national emblem can be seen at the 12:00 position on the plate. Condition is nearly flawless, we note no issues. 10 x 10" plate with the mid-1950s Rosenthal leaf-shaped logo that reads ROSENTHAL, Selb Bavaria, Germany with a gold garland hanging from either side.
